Conversational German Language Class

Join us every 1st Wednesday of the month, 6:30 p.m., for Conversational German Language Classes...suitable and encouraged for ALL AGES.  These classes are offered to our members at no charge...you only need a willingness to learn.  Planning a trip to Germany?  Want to learn more about your German heritage?  Have an interest in foreign languages?  You won't want to miss this exciting new activity at the club.  Our instructor is Ms. Jessica DeVaul.  These classes are designed to be informal and fun, but also educational and will provide a great opportunity to learn German.

Each month's lesson will be posted here within a few days after the class, for your review of the material and practice speaking at home.  Also each week, in our Weekly Email Blast look for Jessica's Phrases of the Week.  (Sign up to receive the Weekly Email Blast at the bottom of the Homepage of our website).

Finally, join Jessica every 3rd Wednesday of the month for our Culinary Tour Through Germany.  Jessica will spend a few minutes talking about the history, unique culture and food of the town/city/region highlighted.

Meet our Instructor, Ms. Jessica DeVaul

These include Delta Phi Alpha (the National German Honor Society), German Language Stammtisch of the Indian Valley Public Library in Telford, PA, the book club at the German Society of Pennsylvania, and German Worship Service Committee for St. John's Evangelical-Lutheran Church in Reading, PA. Jessica also works as a private German tutor. Currently, she is taking German language courses with the Goethe-Institut in preparation for an advanced language certification test.
