Our trip to southern Germany was absolutely beautiful! After much anticipation and planning, we finally made the journey. What more can one ask for with great friends, beautiful cities, superior meals, lovely accommodations, and a great motorcoach driver! We toured Munich, Neuschwanstein Castle, Lindau (Lake Constance), Bregenz (Austria), Sigmaringen and Lichtenstein Castles, Reutlingen (our Sister City), Tubingen, Stuttgart, Freudenstadt (the Black Forest), Ulm and Augsburg. A big thank you to Alex and Boscovs Travel Center for helping us to plan this trip and make it a great success. There are just too many highlights to mention! We would like to say a big thank you to the travel group who was the best ever! Please watch for future trips to Europe!

A variety of apparel embroidered with the Reading Liederkranz logo, including baseball caps, sweatshirts and golf shirts are available. To purchase these items, see Harold Buchtmann or Jeff Eshelman. ELECTION OF OFFICERS
Pursuant to Article 11, Section 1 of the Club's By-Laws, an election committee called from among the members was appointed by the president. The members of the election committee are Judi Eshelman, Chair, Elaine Riegel, and Dr. Robert Rapp. Pursuant to Article 11, Section 2 of the By-Laws, the slate of nominees will be posted in the October and November newsletters, with any additions and deletions noted. The nomination of officers shall take place at the November general meeting, and the election of same, by ballot, shall take place after all nominations are closed. A simple majority is necessary for the election of new officers, who shall enter upon their duties on the first of January. While all members are encouraged to attend the November general meeting, only members in good standing, with at least 18 consecutive months of membership, can vote or be elected to office.
All Board of Director members (officers) are open for election as well as the following Trustee positions: Kitchen Trustee and Trustee-at-Large. If anyone is interested in running for any of these positions, please call Judi Eshelman at 610-777-5343.
