Our German cultural club offers a wide variety of events and activities that celebrate the food, drink, and entertainment of Germany. From our annual Oktoberfest celebration to monthly trivia nights and musical performances, there's something for everyone at the Reading Liederkranz. Our annual Bockbier Fest kicks off on April 4, 2026 with our Goat Parade, live music, food, and of course…beer! Come join us to celebrate great beer and the arrival of Spring! Music by the Dave Betz Band.

Join us for a wonderful afternoon of music and fellowship at the Reading Liederkranz Singers Spring Concert on Sunday, April 19, 2026 at 2:00 PM.
This special event will feature the legendary Kermit Ohlinger, along with special guest performances from the Lancaster Liederkranz Chorus and Hobby Chor, making it an afternoon filled with traditional German music and culture.
Doors open at 1:00 PM, giving you plenty of time to arrive, find a seat, and enjoy the atmosphere before the concert begins.

The Yuletide Around the World Holiday Display brings together local community and cultural organizations to decorate Christmas trees and set up Holiday displays throughout The Museum to celebrate the holiday season and the diversity of Berks County! Visiting the display is included with the price of admission.
This year, the Reading Liederkranz is proud to extend our support of the Salvation Army through their Adopt-A-Family Christmas Program — building upon the great success of our Angel Tree program!
