Adopt-A-Family for Christmas Help Bring Joy to a Local Family!
/This year, the Reading Liederkranz is proud to extend our support of the Salvation Army through their Adopt-A-Family Christmas Program — building upon the great success of our Angel Tree program!
We’re adopting Tara and her family — a loving grandmother who has opened her home to support her children and grandchildren during a difficult year. Despite working hard, the family is struggling to meet their needs, and we have an opportunity to make their holiday brighter.
Meet the Family and Their Wishlist:
Tara (Grandmother)
Needs: Pots and pans, cleaning products, laundry supplies (Gain Original only), towels, wash baskets
Clothing: XS shirts & pants, size 7 shoes, XS coat
Wish List: Queen size comforter & sheet set, hygiene products, flat iron
Deshawn (Son)
Needs: Gas gift cards, hygiene products, Queen size sheet set
Clothing: Men’s large shirts, 36x34 pants, size 11 shoes
Wish List: Electric toothbrush
Macaiah (Daughter, 13)
Clothing: Women’s small, shoes size 6.5
Wish List: Anything Hello Kitty, makeup set, bracelet kit, hair accessories
Alathea (Daughter, 11)
Clothing: Youth large, shoes size 5.5
Wish List: Pokémon cards, Squishmallows, gift card to The Works arcade
Paxton (Grandson, 7)
Clothing: Boys 8–10, shoes size 2.5
Wish List: WWE ring & figures, Legos, toy trucks, bike
Max (Grandson, 1)
Clothing: 3T–4T, shoes size 9c
Wish List: Educational toys, activity table, baby products (body wash, shampoo, lotion, bibs, sippy cups, etc.)
We’re collecting gifts, clothing, and gift cards to create a warm, joyful holiday for this family.
